We’re thrilled to announce that with the generous support from WIRES and the Koala Community Grants Program, we’ve installed 4 Tree Troff koala drinkers across our project area! 
These drinkers have been carefully placed in zones where koala habitat is poorly watered, ensuring our furry friends have access to much-needed hydration. 
Here’s what’s next:
Maintenance: These drinkers will be part of our ongoing livestock watering system, ensuring they remain in top condition.
Monitoring: We’ll periodically track the koala population around these drinkers to see if access to permanent water boosts habitat utilization.
Wildlife Watching: We’re excited to see how many gliders and other critters make use of these arboreal drinkers. Each one is equipped with a camera, so stay tuned for some amazing photos in the coming months!
